MASSIMO LISTRI
The Felicitous Eye
17 April 2016 – 31 July 2016
This exhibition by Florentine photographer Massimo Listri, an internationally renowned master photographer of art, architecture and interiors, is the culmination of his long-standing friendship with publisher Franco Maria Ricci that stretches back more than thirty years.
Listri’s universe is devoid of human figures, which appear to have mysteriously vanished, though not, apparently, following an earthquake or other disaster, given that everything has remained untouched. Reproduced on large-format panels, his Museum Rooms, as seen through Listri’s eye, appear like the public squares, galleries and roads of a single Metaphysical City, majestic and global, that safeguards human Knowledge and Beauty.
